There are many best seller books published every year. But there were only a few that were best sellers in the 70’s. One of the best sellers was The Secret Woman by, Victoria Holt. This book is a romance story about a girl who takes over her Aunt’s Antique shop after she dies. Her business fails and her friend gets her a job as a governess at a Castle Credition. Another best seller was the Crystal Cave by Mary Stewart. Another famous book from the 70’s was The Outsiders. This book was about the relationship between a group of guys that were all different ages. This book, later, was turned into a movie. Lots of famous actors from the 2000’s were in it when they were younger, such as Matt Dillon, Ralph Macchio, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe and Tom Cruise.
